Fleas Pest Control

Flea Control

We specialise in Flea control in all types of properties and can get you a specialist technician quickly who can recommend the best solution to stop these annoying pests.

Fleas are a common problem in the UK especially in homes with pets. Fleas don’t only occur on cats and dogs but also foxes, squirrels, rats and even livestock.

Fleas in your premises or home may result in you experiencing bites which can cause an uncomfortable rash or itch.

Fleas need a blood feed to lay eggs which is why they bite pets, wildlife, livestock and humans. The main flea species in the UK are Dog and Cat Fleas which can occur even if you don’t have a pet.

Why fleas need long term control

  • A female flea is capable of producing more than 25 eggs a day. These eggs can develop into an adult flea within 2 weeks, depending on temperature.
  • If it is cold eggs can take as long as 5 months to become adult fleas which in turn can lay eggs.
  • It can be tricky to ensure the cycle is broken which is why we recommend a pest control technician should come out to properly identify the flea species and carry out the recommended treatment.

Insect Control & Prevention

In the UK there are over 20,000 orders of insects

It is vital for us to understand what insect you have. Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know – we can diagnose some insect problems over the phone – however in most cases we would carry out a specialist consultation and survey to provide the following benefits:

  • We cover a massive range of insect control from fleas, bed bugs, clothes moths, carpet beetles, and woodworm.
  • With all insects, it’s important to find their nests and what they are living on. We will treat the insects using the correct method but also look to kill the eggs and larvae.
  • Many companies will just treat the areas quickly & cheaply, and do nothing to combat the eggs or source of infestation. It is impossible to control infestations without knowing why they are there in the first place!
